Friday Night Fights: Pigeon Martial Arts

For this edition of Friday Night Fights, I want to highlight a couple of panels from Yu Yagami’s Hikkatsu! Strike a Blow to Vivify which details the adventures of a boy named Shota who is obsessed with fixing appliances by hitting them. He’s aided by Momoko, a girl who was raised by pigeons. This gives her some unique martial arts skills that she uses against the horrible Bean Gun Enthusiast Clan:
Momoko explains why she must destroy people who love shooting beans:
I love the pigeon who is so conflicted and confused about being shot with beans.

This series doesn’t get enough love! I felt sorry for the pigeons!

I know, the poor pigeons! For me the equivalent of being shot with a bean gun would be getting violently punched in the face with a cheesecake.

This seams like a good manga I must read this as I do love pigeons! ^_^
