I am so full. I went out to dinner with some co-workers (ex and current), and got to hear all about what life is like for other people in the library (it appears that sometimes going to work is as fraught with peril as Capt. Benjamin Willard’s journey into the jungle in Apocalypse Now). I advised taking strategic mental health sick days, because sometimes one needs to preserve one’s sanity. And being stressed can spill over to physical symptoms.
Do you ever go shopping in the international section of the grocery store and end up buying totally random items? I went grocery shopping last night and now I have a mint Aero bar, tea biscuits, and coconut milk. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with the coconut milk.
It seems that gmail released a wave of invites. I think that between my boyfriend, my friends, and selected family members my invites are going to get snapped up but if I end up with extras I’ll post about ‘em here. I wonder though if most people who really want a gmail account already have one at this point.
I wonder if my little sisters would want a morbid bunny for Hanukkah. The alien one is so cute!
It’s kinda disappointing that the vampire one doesn’t look more like Bunnicula. The alien one is quite cute though.
Oh my god, those bunnies ROCK. I find myself trying to think of people who might want one…
I’m seriously thinking about getting an alien bunny for myself. Not that I really need any stuffed animals.
The coconut milk, with some other ingredients, would make a wonderful Tom Kha Kai soup.
Here is a decent recipe, and I would add mushrooms to make it like the way my favorite Thai restaurant does: http://recipes.chef2chef.net/recipe-archive/03/016805.shtml
That looks like a great recipe! I even have some limes already. I think I’ll try that out. I’m usually cooking impaired but I might be able to manage soup.
Thai food is the best…and no, I’m not saying that because I’m a biased Thai…really…
I think I’ll go have me some leftover Tom Yum now…hehe…
