wow, reading about that bullshit experience from the visitor to the comic store looking for an Obama Spiderman comic reminded me why I stopped reading and buying superhero comics — the attitude that some fanboy salesclerks have, where they can’t appreciate that this book brought NEW customers into a store, NEW readers to check out comics, and then promptly alienated these once excited customers into thinking “i’ll never come back again.” I hope that this store gets “outed” and the clerk properly shamed for his behavior. those kinds of stores deserve to go out of business.

The sad thing is that comic book stores like that end up dragging down the good ones.
