I’m having a relaxing Thanksgiving break. I’ve read 4 Nero Wolfe mysteries. I went to see Rent. I thought that the recent Pride and Prejudice movie was very good. I especially liked Mr. Bingley, who was the Bingliest of all Bingleys - very adorable. The walking on the misty moors scene substituted nicely for the infamous plunge into the lake that Mr. Darcy took in the TV miniseries. I’ve learned new and interesting ways to swear by watching the first season of Deadwood. I also caught the first couple episodes of Samurai Seven.
And I got a bit of wedding planning done, so that was good. A nice Thanksgiving vacation!
The cocksuckers have pushed the third season back to June. I certainly fucking hope that this will not interfere with you taping it, what with the fucking wedding an’ all.
Listen, you nimble-dicked shit pounder, if you are so needing to watch season three of deadwood you can damned well subscribe to HBO yourself.
I don’t know if my future husband has HBO. I could tape the second season reruns for you now though, if you want me to.
That’s ok; I’ll probably ask for the DVDs for my birthday.
