I’m having a relaxing Thanksgiving break. I’ve read 4 Nero Wolfe mysteries. I went to see Rent. I thought that the recent Pride and Prejudice movie was very good. I especially liked Mr. Bingley, who was the Bingliest of all Bingleys – very adorable. The walking on the misty moors scene substituted nicely for the infamous plunge into the lake that Mr. Darcy took in the TV miniseries. I’ve learned new and interesting ways to swear by watching the first season of Deadwood. I also caught the first couple episodes of Samurai Seven.

And I got a bit of wedding planning done, so that was good. A nice Thanksgiving vacation!
