I didn’t really get much today. I think as I become older and more mature, I’m less thrilled about collecting free pens. I grabbed a few advance copies of some young adult/kids books (Princess Academy by Sharon Hale, Stravaganza: City of Flowers by Mary Hoffman, The Cry of the Icemark by Stuart Hill). Really, in some other universe, I swear another version of me is a YA librarian. One thing that I did notice is more books came with CDs included with author readings and other extra materials. I also picked up cheap copies of David B.’s Epileptic and some Del Rey manga, xxxHOLiC and Othello.

Note: I’ve heard that tomorrow morning Toykopop is GIVING AWAY their display copies. I’m not going to go to the conference tomorrow so please know that I am with you in spirit if you snag some free manga
