For January, I had 6 novels and 17 manga. I’m making a concerted effort to plow through my tremendous manga backlog, so I’m happy I got a fair amount accomplished.
In so doing, I read several first volumes of series. I note you’ve done the same this month. Sometimes I find it kind of draining to read the first volume of something, because you’re still in that stage where you’re learning names and personalities and the rules of that particular series/universe. Does this ever happen to you?
I don’t know, I think I’m used to reading a bunch of first volumes of series just because that’s what I tend to post reviews on. So I don’t find it very draining.
