		<description>That's true, but one other thing I kept thinking about while reading the book was how much better Bridget Jones Diary handled the whole P&#038;P/Colin Firth obsession thing.

I think Hale also wasn't really able to fully make the transition from YA to adult writing, which would account for the tone of the book being a little off too.</description>

		<description>Heh I thought exactly the same thing - I expected more after Princess Academy.  But I do think the timing is still good, at least, the 1995 P&#38;P is still a popular film to watch.  And Bridget Jones lusted after Mr. Darcy on the silver screen as recently as 2004.  If that means anything.</description>
