I just finished reading The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl (a delightful YA novel by Barry Lyga which features a 15 year old protagonist who is semi-obsessed with Brian Michael Bendis). There’s a great scene where the main character runs into the school media center to look something up during a crisis and the librarian starts talking to him, prompting the thought:
