I enjoyed Cerebus overall, but the Woody Allen section of the penultimate Cerebus collection "Latter Days" was some of the most ungodly boring material ever presented in comics form. I suppose it would probably be interesting to theological scholars, but it made me very very angry to have to slog through it on the dim hope there would be some kind of purpose or reward for doing so. There is. Sort of. But it's not really worth the struggle.
