It got terrible reviews on Netflix/Amazon, i.e. "Quite possibly the worst film known to man, woman or child", but I quite enjoyed it. It seemed like they'd be an important part of the story, especially to help create the proper mood. Instead I found myself wondering what sort of noises the characters were reacting to, which was pretty distracting.
