Buffy Library Playset

People on the GNLIB-L list have been talking about the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Library Playset. It is quite nice, but I don’t know about paying over 50 bucks for some molded plastic.

Unless it becomes a collectible, in which case it will go for much more.
Hard to see from the picture if the set is any good, but I’d be more tempted to take up the fine art of dollhouse making and reproduce the scene on my own. Added advantage (?) that you can populate it with real, miniature, books. (The “?” because the proper size miniature books, if they’re any good at all, are generally hellaceously expensive.)
The action figures themselves look horrible and cheap.

I only have the Spike, Drucilla and the Gentlemen action figures, and they wouldn’t really hang out in the Sunnydale High library anyway.

I can imagine having a Giles action figure duke it out with Nancy Pearl.
Heck, maybe I’d buy a Kato action figure and pretend it was Black Mask and just wipe the floor with the other two.
Heck, maybe I’ll grow up someday too.
