Cyndi Lauper Sings Songs of Gundam
I am at a loss for words.
Isn’t that crazy?!
Crazy how? Have you seen her in concert lately? I did, last year. I came expecting a campy, superannuated “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” Cyndi with the crazy clothes and the funky hairdo. What I got was a wide variety of music and style, was energy, was just plain showmanship. She has grown immensely as a singer. Blew me away. I left with a healthy respect for her. And, no, no crazy clothes or funky hairdo. She doesn’t need ‘em.
Ah, I’ve always liked Cyndi. I think it is a little crazy that she’s singing songs from the Gundam series though. She’s not the first person I think of when I think of Giant Robot TV show theme songs, that’s what I thought was crazy.
