It is a tie between two books. One is _The Selfless Mind; Personality, Consciousness and Nirvana in Early Buddhism_ by Peter Harvey. The second is a tri-lingual version of Le Petit Prince in French, English and Chinese. The Harvey is a most masterful account of personal continuity without affirming the existence of a personal ego-substance. The defects of the book are primarily editing issues. Some words are incorrectly spelled as their homonyms. Le Petit Prince has always been a fave and now I can try it out in Chinese, which should be fun. This is a very tough question.
