OK, I had a feeling when I put up that kiwi theme it wouldn’t be around for more than 24 hours. Thanks to everyone who commented. I liked the modular look of the kiwi theme, and the authors were doing some interesting things with plugins to control some of the modules on the page, but the teeny tiny font wasn’t so great. Now I’m using the pool theme, which I was inspired to use after seeing it in action over on blogwithoutalibrary. I think I snagged the pattern at the top from citrusmoon. I still need to tweak the colors a little bit.

great use of Pool! the tabs at the top sold me on this theme (nothing beats good navigation). And I’m digging the bright colours

The theme looks very “flat”.

I dunno, I’m not sure why the default for everything now is rounded corners and drop shadows. I don’t mind the flatness, but I might do something different with the background image to give it more depth.
