Kiwi Theme

I’m experimenting with the Kiwi Theme, what do you think? I sort of like it although it may be a bit much, and it looks more like a CMS template for a web site than a blog.

That’s what I was afraid of!

I’ll probably change the colors on the pool or daisy rae gemini theme, and switch over to that later tonight

What I like the most is the mini-multiple column layout. The lack of color and use of such small fonts makes it difficult to read.

I like the colors, but something about the multiple columns feels weird, like it makes it harder to tell what’s important and what isn’t (.e.g the comments are at the same level as the “other posts” list and sometimes my eye drifts over there when I’m reading the comments).

When I hear “Kiwi theme,” I think “What’s this got to do with New Zealand?” Given a choice between a Kiwi themed website and the scenery on a clear day in Christchurch, I’d pick the latter.
