Kevin links to this rather weird story about people reacting to Peach Girl in their local library. More commentary at The Great Curve.

Manga geek me read:
One of the comics found by Problem Solver Nancy Alvarez featured parents who swap spouses.
“That’s swinging and this is a girl no older than my daughter,” parent Travis White said.
and immediately thought, “Hey, that’s Marmalade Boy, not Peach Girl! And they got divorced and remarried!” I wish people would actually *read* things before they felt qualified to judge it for everyone else. The ratings are on the books for a reason, and pretty easy to see if your reading the blurb on the back.
Yeah, I didn’t think that was the plot of Peach Girl (I’ve only read the first volume).
