What manga should you read on Halloween?
Sugar Sugar Rune - This is the story of two witches who are sent to earth to capture human hearts in a contest that will determine who will become the Witch Queen. Candy references abound.
xxxHOLiC - Clamp’s series combines lovely art nouveau influenced art with the story of the hapless Watanuki Kimihiro who is haunted by spirits and finds himself working for the mysterious witch Yuuko.
Bleach - Ichigo can see dead people, but will he be able to learn how to vanquish evil spirits in his new role as a Soul Reaper?
Hellsing - The story of the vampire vampire hunter Alucard and the Hellsing organization.

Hee! Thanks, I haven’t read much horror manga, so my list was only vaguely spooky

I really liked Uzumaki and Tomie, though I just couldn’t take Gyo seriously enough to get through the preview. Junji Ito comes up with some creepy tales.
