Time 100 Best Book List

in: books

Spotted over at LISNews, the 100 best novels since the beginning of Time. I think I’ve read around 43 of the books on the list, but I don’t remember many details about the books I had to read in High School.

I am disappointed to say that my count was on 23. :- (
On the bright side I was more than glad to see Gibson, Stephenson, and Moore on the list!

    16. That’s pretty sad.

But how excellent is it that Watchmen’s on there? Woo!

Only 16, but I marvel at a lot of their choices. Where’s Robertson Davies, for starters? Where’s Mark Helprin’s Winter’s Tale? John Crowley’s Little, Big? It’s nice that Watchmen is there, but that’s not a novel as such. Still, if you include graphic novels, then where’s Art Spiegelman’s Maus or even his flawed In the Shadow of No Towers?
