I taught a whopping 4 classes yesterday. Remind me not to do that again this semester. So I decided I was entitled to a little fun today, so I ran off and saw Serenity, and enjoyed it very much. It did basically seem like a longer, souped-up episode of Firefly, but that’s exactly what I was hoping for. It was funny and sad, and there was plenty of action. I really hope the movie does well enough for a sequel, or maybe a TV miniseries or special that could extend the story.

Joss is a bastard! I love him.
Joss is a bastard! I love the movie too.
Serenity is what the “prequel” trilogy of Star Wars could have been. Should have been.
