Well the Weinstein’s bought Tony Jaa’s new movie Tom Yum Goong. I hope they don’t edit it too much. There’s a new trailer up on the movie site where you can see Tony Jaa hanging out with elephants and jumping up and kicking a streetlight.

Good lord, after Miramax is done editing it, it may as well be Operation Dumbo Drop II. Good thing I can understand a word or two in Thai.
Haha–nat, you crack me up–but yeah, after the “Hero” fiasco (amongst many others) we’ll be lucky if we get even that. I’m probably just going to order the Thai VCD instead.
I wish I had the option of being able to understand Thai at all.
Actually–if the story is at all as simple as the reviews make it out to be (and as simple as Ong-Bak was), you probably don’t even need to understand the dialogue to watch the movie. That’s how I usually watch Bollywood films anyway–hah!
