Tokyo Boys and Girls #2 - I’ve heard this isn’t as good as Hot Gimmick, I haven’t read the first volume yet, but I’m still going to get this.
Basara #14 - One of my favorite long running manga series
Death Note #1 - My impression is that this series about a high school boy’s encounter with an artifact sent to earth by a god of death already has a big fanbase. I’m going to check it out.
Dramacon #1 - I’m going to try the first volume of this series.

I picked up Tokyo Boys and Girls and was shocked at how different the art was from Hot Gimmick. The interior art doesn’t match the front and back covers. I think it affected how much I liked it. (I liked it, but didn’t love it) I picked up Ouran High School Host Club at the same time. Very funny, very good book… it made me laugh out loud a few times.
I think Tokyo Boys and Girls is one of Aihara’s earlier series, so maybe her art skills weren’t as developed back then?
Death Note has a very large fanbase. I’m curious to see how well it’s received by new readers.
