		<description>Actually, Michigan has really horrible potholes, too.  I just always assumed that it was a plot by the car companies to wear out peoples cars faster, but the weather thing makes more sense.</description>

		<description>Crazy winter temperatures.  Snow/Ice on the roads melt into cracks in the pavement then freeze again, expanding and breaking up the roads.  Especially along the northern edge.  That's why the state tree is the post with the flashing "caution construction" light on it.  Don't listen to those people who say it's the Buckeye tree.  Aren't you glad you asked?  God's country, eh?  I don't know about that.  I moved out of there to escape the cold, so I guess if God wants it, He can have it.  Have a good time.</description>
