Hijacking the pizza car would have been a good plan. I only had to walk 2 blocks last night, but it was miserable.

St. Jerome is the patron saint of librarians. I don't like him very much. Other patron saints include St. Lawrence and St. Catherine of Alexandria (she of the Catherine Wheel). From the Patron Saint Index http://www.catholic-forum.com/saints/indexsnt.htm.

Have fun with candles :) They'll keep you warm. ish.

With all those boots, aren't any of them waterproof/iinsulated? My CAT work boots have thinsulate and work great year-round. But then, I don't wear them to the library.

Just be sure that the snow and cold are over in 1.5 weeks so that when Little D and escorting companions arrive they need not bring a Humvee to navigate to selected destinations. We had 60 over the weekend, but nothing above 35 is forecast into the infinite future.
