I’ve had a relaxing vacation so far. I’ve read good books (The Grand Tour and Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell) and watched good movies (Life Aquatic, Ocean’s 12, and Lemony Snicket. I’ve also enjoyed some fine Mexican food and an unusual amount of sleep (8-10 hours, when I usually average around 5-6). So I’m trying to stay relaxed and get a bit of knitting done too.

So what did you think of Johnathan Strange?
Yipes, still have 600 pages to go on Jonathan Strange.. I am liking it pretty well so far though..
I liked Jonathan Strange very much, but I’m glad that I read over half of it while on an airplane, because I might have found it tough to get through if I was just reading a chapter or two a night. I have a short attention span sometimes.
I was a little disappointed that I ended up finishing the book so quickly instead of stretching it out over a few more days — I didn’t want the book to be over
