Today was a holiday from work for me. I went down to Boston Common and wandered around a little bit. There were many young men and women in uniform there for the parade.

• I went to see the Incredibles, which was excellent.
• I saw the Wookie Army in the Star Wars trailer. I know I’ll be dissapointed by the movie, but I loves the Wookies!
• I bought black socks at H & M that have print of little pink skulls.
• I picked up the new “hip” knitting magazine from Vogue and Lion Brand. Ech. There is an ok pattern for knitted flowers in there though.
• I read a novel by Nina Kiriki Hoffman, A Stir of Bones (amazon)
• I tracked down a copy of Alice 19th #7, and a couple volumes of the semi-out of print (?) or at least not so easy to find Clamp series Clover.

That’s about it. I have to teach 4 classes tomorrow. Pray for me
