*sigh*

in: General, pip

I’m creeped out by the election results. I’m worried.
As someone who is not Christian, the religious fervor of the Republican party worries me.
I’m worried about the national debt, and I’m sad that we elected a president who wants to write discrimination and bigotry into the constitution.
I ♥ Barack Obama though. Perhaps the Democrats can figure out how to clone him.

Also creeped, also worried. I play heroes in RPGs. Time to figure out how to apply lessons learned, I guess.

It’s up to 59,108,395! (According to CNN, at least.)

    I don’t think I’m going to keep a running count, though. :p

It’s a good thing to have hobbies to distract you and let you work stuff out. Perhaps I will knit an “America is Scary” sweater :)

Barack Obama is awesome! Truly, he represents all a candidate should be and more. I didn’t hesitate to cast my vote in his direction because he’s just that good! :) And in case you’re wondering, my ballot was a little of this and a little of that! LOL!

I also [HEART] Barack Obama. I think he should be president someday. The thought of him in the Senate is a small glimmer of hope.

You know, progressive knitting is an interesting idea. We could knit banners! And buttons! (One could knit a little circular thing and attach it to a button backing, don’t you think?) Or knit for people who’ve been left out in the cold by Bush’s economic policies. Or sell knitted things and give the proceeds to progressive causes. It could even turn into a Knit for Social Justice movement. What do you think?

I like the knitting idea, I have a couple of thoughts about it, I’m going to e-mail you!

Maybe the election was simply stolen?

Calm down. Gore and Clinton were Southern Baptists; we all survived. Bush is a Methodist. That’s a long way from being a fundamentalist.
