I was able to spend some time today setting up the blog that my department is going to use for internal communication. It isn’t going to be publically available on the web, so I’m not going to post a link to it, but thanks to the people that stopped by my demo blog earlier and posted to fill it out. It will be interesting to see what the transition for my department is like, moving from scrawling reference desk issues down on paper to posting in a blog. I’m using wordpress for the blog, partially due to the ease of setting up categories, but also because it is free and easy for me to work with

Someone posted the website for Noah Wyle’s tv movie The Librarian, I didn’t realize that Bob Newhart was in the movie too. Maybe he plays Noah’s cranky boss or something.

I have a class to teach tomorrow with a research assignment so complex that it makes my head hurt. I seriously wonder if my reaction when reading the essay options for the class is a headache, what are the poor freshmen feeling?
