Comics I bought last week: Powers#5 (Yikes!), Ultimate Spiderman & X-Men (Meh…), and Human Target #15 (Hmm…)

I’m looking forward to reading Planetary, Noble Causes, WE 3 (maybe), Blue Monday, Alice 19th (although I haven’t gotten #6 yet), and X 1999.

I got my cheap dvd of the first season of Angel today! It looks like I ordered it at just the right time, the promotion Amazon was running has ended and it looks like the price has gone up to $40 again instead of the crazy insane low price of $15 they were offering it for earlier.

Anime series I intend to finish watching someday, but am taking a break from: Garasaki, X 1999, and Scrapped Princess.

I tried the first dvd of Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, but I couldn’t really get into it. Too many boob jokes for me. There were some funny moments and parodies (there was a cute reference to 2001), it seems like a series someone who liked Excel Saga would also enjoy. I finished watching Witch Hunter Robin a few weeks ago.

I’m currently watching Harukanaru Toki no Naka de Hachiyoushou and Vandread. Vandread is not without boob jokes, but the boob jokes are more subtle and character-based. And there are robots and aliens!
