I’ve finally discovered the secret to finding pants that fit at Old Navy: try on almost every pair in the store, including multiple pairs of the same size and style. I went into the fitting room with a stack of pants so huge that when it was draped over my arm it was cutting off my circulation. But I got pants! I’m all stocked up on pants for the winter! Now I can hibernate and be secure that my legs will be covered.

This has nothing to do with pants, but I was very amused to hear that on Camper van Beethoven’s new album, there is a song titled “That gum you like is back in style“

Camper Van Beethoven has a new album out? Yowsa! When did that happen? Ohhh, I see. October 12, 2004. Amazon has it for sale. Daggum, I’m so out of the music loop. I didn’t even know the Finn Brothers had a new one out until I heard it playing as background music in a local gallery.
