Thanks to Humid Cedar for blogging about the second book in Jonathan Stroud’s Bartimaeus Trilogy, The Golem’s Eye. I had no idea the second volume was out! The first book in the trilogy, the Amulet of Samarkand, came out quite a while ago. I remember picking up an advance copy at ALA Toronto.

I watched the first episode of Mars, a live action adaptation of the manga by Fuyumi Soryo . The tv show is currently airing in Taiwan, I think. It just goes to show, if something has geeky appeal, you can find it on the web! (via TokyoJupiter)
