Damn you, faulty Dell laptop power supply, damn you to hell!!!!
Did you miss me?
I’ve been going through serious withdrawal not having Internet access at home. I did get through many Netflix dvds and I’ve been knitting like crazy (will post pictures soon) so I did get a few things done.
I’m in major “prep for the fall semester mode” at work right now. I’ve been spending time doing monotonous yet necessary tasks like updating instructional handouts that have been made obsolete by interface redesigns and preparing teaching materials for the fall. Today I tried to prepare for the workshop I’m going to be teaching on RSS by using bloglines. I think I’m going to teach about RSS by just getting everyone in the class to register for a bloglines account and start adding feeds. I think it is the type of subject where learning by doing will communicate more than me talking about RSS in the front of the room.

Nothing worse than a faulty power supply… They can fry your motherboard and everything just with one little flick of the switch. Glad that you avoided that fate, though. Nice to have you back.

It was just dead so there was no possibility of frying, thank goodness!
