I torched all of the old feeds leftover from my movable type install, they weren’t being updated anyway and thus were broken, without telling anyone they were broken. You can get yer brand spanking new feeds here in 2 flavors:

I haven’t been able to do as much tweaking as I wanted with this site, things are INSANE at work right now. Nothing horrible going on, just have a ton of projects to get done before fall and it is already July, and I’m going on vacation soon. Where did the summer go?

Inspired by Shoe, I tried to set up the poll plugin for wordpress. I got it up and running fine, but it wasn’t displaying on the page very well, and after a few minutes of frantically hacking at the css, I decided to give up, because life is too short! I think I do need to set up a testblog to experiment with plugins instead of doing everything live. So I’m going to do that and then maybe I can add nifty category icons and random quotes, and all these other lovely plugins for wordpress.

Does anyone have a collection of academically oriented news feeds? Like, let’s say you were going to teach a workshop on using a news aggregator at a college library, what would you want to show the people who show up to your workshop? I’m collecting feeds and sites as I go along, but if you have any ideas for scholarly feeds that might seem exciting to faculty/grad students let me know!
