Huh

I’m not totally sure what to do about the new pricing scheme for Movabletype 3.0. It isn’t like my blog will break if I don’t upgrade. I think one of the nice things about not moving to 3.0 is that I’d still be able to set up as many other blogs as I wanted to. As it is, since in my version of movabletype my sister is also an author I could buy the personal edition at $69.95, provided I do not want to have more than 5 weblogs. So I’d have my blog, my sister’s blog, and the option for 3 more sub blogs and one more author. But the free version of 3.0 wouldn’t really work the way I have things currently set up. So it will be interesting to see what happens after the hue and cry settles down. I’m thinking of trying out Wordpress 1.2 when it comes out (maybe I’ll set up a book blog or knitting blog) to see if I can use it or if it would be beyond my abilities to install….
