Despite picking up a rampaging cold from too much airplane travel earlier this week, I managed to find the strength to see the Mavericks play the Celtics last night. It was somewhat painful seeing the Celtics get back in the game in the 4th quarter to beat the Mavs. But I can console myself with the thought that Dirk had a good game (up until the last 2 minutes), with 30 points and 13 rebounds. Aww, he must have sensed that I was near.
How Antoine “0 for 6 from 3pt land” Walker ended up with the ball in his hands for the last shot, I will never understand.

True, but he won’t be asking for a 4 year, $60 million deal next summer.
