Batman is yummy again

Many places are reporting that Christian Bale is going to be the next Batman, in a movie directed by Christopher “Memento” Nolan.
I hope that Mr. Nolan is able to do for Batman what Sam Raimi did for Spiderman. Christan Bale will certainly be a great Bruce Wayne, and he can do action movie stuff quite well.
Anyone else out there like Equilibrium?

Equilibrium was real good. Even though a martial arts form like gun-kata wouldn’t have many people climbing in ranks.
I’m still looking forwards to a Batman/Superman crossover movie of some sort.
(Ever noticed that Joe Millionaire looks exactly like Clark Kent?)

Ewww, I don’t know about the Joe Millionaire/Clark Kent thing. Other than them both having brown hair and being sorta beefy, I’m not sure I see the resemblance. Clark would have an intelligent look in his eyes, I don’t think that Joe Millionaire would be able to duplicate that
I do really enjoy the lower budgeted scifi movies that have come out in the past few years like Equilibrium and Pitch Black much more than some of the recent high budget movies (AI, Minority Report, etc)

You’re right, movies like Equilibrium and Pitch Black are lot more exciting than bigger budget sci-fi flicks, especially franchise materials like Star Wars (well, Ep.1 at least), pretty much all the recent Star Trek movies, and stuff like Lost in Space and, gulp, Wing Commander (which I had the awful pleasure of catching 30 minutes of the other day)
