Wow, I have to link to neilalien, as this lovely web site features a palindrome for a url. And it contains all the Dr. Strange and comics bloggery that a fan girl could hope for. I especially like the Dr Strange and his foes css style switcher, where you can choose between skins that feature Master of the Mystic Arts, Baron Mordo, Dormammu, and the Silver Dagger.
A recent entry also features a round-up of many comic bloggers reacting to the Castillo case.
I think practicing my reading skills on my mom’s stash of comics at an early age warped my brain, because I tend to get all fuzzy and nostalgic when contemplating random comics from the late 60s/70s like Captain Marvel (not the Shazam! yelling dude), Kazar, Lord of the Jungle, and the marvel adaptation of Conan the Barbarian.

Honestly, doesn’t it sometimes seem that the sum of human genius has gone into the creation of fan sites? OK, I exaggerate. A little. But I love that people put stuff like this together. It’s better than building bridges!

See, I don’t think of them as fan sites, I think of them as “web based research material facilitating my informal studies of popular culture!”
